We weren’t chasing trends. We were chasing something harder to define — that feeling when a fragrance stops you mid-step and takes you somewhere else entirely. We traveled through the vibrant souks of the UAE and the storied perfume houses of Turkey, hand-picking scents worthy of bringing back to Egypt. Not because they were expensive. Because they were true.

From Curator to Creator
After years of learning the language of notes, accords, and the invisible architecture of a great scent, something shifted. We stopped asking “which fragrance is worth sharing?” and started asking “what would we make if we could?” That question became House of Mekdad’s own signature collection — taking the bones of world-class, high-caliber fragrances and reshaping them with a distinctly Mekdad sensibility. Not copies. Conversations.

We don’t rush. A great fragrance isn’t a formula — it’s a feeling that has to be earned. We started with just three carefully composed scents, and we’ve grown slowly on purpose.
